That’s why we do a heating and cooling load calculation on every job.  When a Spring Air specialist comes to your home, they will use their laptop to begin a room by room analysis of your home.  This program considers your windows, doors, ceiling heights, R-values, fireplaces, the orientation of the home, and the weather patterns for the area.  A Spring Air specialist uses this information to do a detailed Energy Analysis and recommends ways to improve your home’s comfort, energy use and health.

There has been much talk in the media about mold and sick-house syndrome.  Spring Air provides innovative solutions for these problems with our knowledge of HVAC design, air quality products, state certified sealed ducts and high efficient equipment.  Spring Air works closely with experts in remediation to help customers reclaim their homes. 

In one instance, Spring Air was called in to improve a very poor heating and cooling system.  Household mold prevented the customer from living in her home without a respirator.  Spring Air provided a system that was sealed against contaminants, would not allow mold or mildew to grow in it, and removed 99.98% of all particulates.  On top of all that, the home was more comfortable, the system was quieter and the energy bills were lower.  That customer now lives in her home without a respirator.

Another customer had a large, beautiful home, but the upstairs was 20 degrees hotter than the rest of the home all year round.  The family simply did not use the space because it was so uncomfortable.  Spring Air came up with an innovative solution with the help of Arzel pneumatic zoning.  The new system gave the customer three zones that were independently controlled.  The upstairs is now a functioning family room that is used often.  This customer gained back 1,000 square feet of living space.  The icing on the cake is that they also gained lower energy bills, quieter systems and cleaner air.
